Happy Chinese New Year 2013!!!

Chinese New Year is over (at least the holiday part is.. haha).. throughout these times i did have some customers. Mostly my sisters from Nov 11 mummies. Really thank them for their wonderful support. Here are some more nails design i did on fake tips 1st.

 I did this leopard print for Kaemii as she said she wanted some thing loud n yet have new year feel. But she feels leopard prints is not her thing. =(

 I saw this in a nail mag. Love the effect very much so gave it a try.

 Wanted something with the Gold so I tried this. The flower is kinda.... but I managed to get it right later on..

This is done one Esther's nail. Very colorful. I did not expect it to turn out pretty well. With Polka dots and Flowers.

This was done on a gal named Melissa. She stayed around my area. I did the black n red swirl on her. 

 This set is done on Jean's nails. It was the original set. She wanted some thing classy with swirl and with her lucky colors this year which is Green. But she came back next day to modify the design as she feels the swirl on green does not quite match the CNY theme. I actually managed to draw a rose on her fourth finger but the black acrylic paint in not cooperating. Pigment is too rough. Time to get a new black acrylic paint.

 This is the modified version. Paint 2nd finger red with gold outline to simplified the look. i did an embossed flower with gold beads on the fourth finger to make it more CNY feel.

 This set is done on Kaemii. in the end still chose leopard prints.. haha.. but a simplified one. Her lucky colors this year is Green also. N i did embossed heart on her thumb also.

This hand belongs to my niece. She has really long n nice fingers. This done with the only polish color i have. she can't do gel as she is still studying. she said she like purple so i did purple flowers on her.

 Finally this is my CNY nails. My lucky color this year is yellow, brown n green. So I super kiasu and add in all 3. Plus my theme for ShanShine Nailz is Sunflower. So I did 1 stroke painting on my nails with yellow and brown. Hope this set of nails bring me luck n huat ah!!!

New Design and some updates

I have changed design for this blog. All thanks to my darling from Matilda Tan, Mummy of the lovely Sharlene and Samuel. Her design is very vintage, sweet but not too cute. I totally love it. Really is what I was looking for all along. Do design one really gt dif one wor... mai siao siao.. haha

Well.. I have been slacking a lot.. I did some part time in nail salons n now I have a full time job.. so was a bit busy... here are some designs I did through out these times..

I did this nail design before i started working in the salons.. I wanted something simple.. 

 

 

 

 I did these 3 design while working in a salon.. so if u see these in one of the salon u visited it means i worked there b4.. hehe

 I did this after i started my current job.. wanted to look nice while working also... hehe..

And this is my xmas nails... i still have it on me.. =)

 Just did these 3.. just a quick one.. realize i always have problem marbleizing.. really need to work on this...


Anyway.. since all my gelish are here, i will need ppl to volunteer to be my model and let me do their nails.. So from now till end of Jan I will be having 50% discount for all services.. slots are pretty limited as i will be busy.. plus i havent been doing nails for sometime so my skills a bit rusty thus will need u to pardon on this.. if u dun mind just SMS or Whatsapp me @ 9664 7718!!!  ^.^

Roses Dans Le Noir

"Roses Dans Le Noir" mean Roses in the dark. Really love the color combination. Red n black seems to always go together. I spent quite sometime on the middle embossed flower. Hope u love it. =)

Nail Art

Just did some nail art on fake nails.

This set of nails is inspired by my principle, Rachel Tang. She roughly teach us during the AngelPro Gelly Polish workshop. Really love the color combi so I tried myself.

I set of nails on a Jap nail magazine. So I wanted to try. It's dif fr the mag of coz. Did it my own way n style. Shall try to do more nail art to upload. =)

Just an update. I will be working 2 part time @ 2 salon. 1 is at Changi City Point. I will be working there Mon & Fri from 12pm-9pm. Another is at Bayshore Park Condo. Working days not confirmed yet but will be 1 weekday n 1 weekend. Hopefully I still have time to do my assignment for my exams. =)

My 1st set of extension done on my own nails

A week ago, just after my nails finally have freedom, I decided to do what I always wanted to do. Do extensions on my nails!!! Here r the results. I need improvement.

 Done gelish with flowers,lots of them on top of the extensions. So tired after that. Haha..
